Simple! Foxfield Railway is one of only a few industrial railways in preservation throughout the whole country. Our unique feature is that we only operate industrial locomotives, typical types that would have operated along the line in its National Coal Board days. Authentic trains in an authentic setting!
Of course the railway is more than just of industrial importance. The line gently winds its way through the beautiful North Staffordshire scenic countryside, over two miles of changing gradients to the peaceful woodland halt at Dilhorne Park.
